Fifteen years as a stockbroker with Merrill Lynch & Tucker Anthony & R. L. Day in the Albany, NY area. Then another 17 years authoring and publishing his ongoing stock market newsletter and advisory: PRINCIPLES OF THE STOCK MARKET. He also was the regular stock market and economics columnist for the Capital District Business Review in Albany for 10 years (250+ columns) and gave talks to the Capital District business community. His lifetime stock market/economics reading list is approaching 175 books. In the past, Mr. Schwartz has appeared as a Market Guru on CNBC and has been quoted in Investor’s Daily. Currently he’s quoted periodically in BARRON’S Market Watch section and on Barron’s Online. Richard is currently employed at a financial firm writing an advisory, in money management and trading the firm’s capital while continuing publishing his Principles newsletter.
